Awesome, Awesome First Day!!!

Hello there! The first day is done! What a great start to the new year! I am so excited to see each of your children grow! Today we spent most of the day going over rules, classroom procedures, and getting to know you activities. Students are coming home with a lot of information for you to read, sign, and return to school tomorrow. About five students also need to remember to bring their $3.50 for their planner notebook. I went ahead and gave them their planner in good faith. Please send in the cash, no checks please, no later than this Friday. If this is your child I wrote a note home to you in their planner. We have library tomorrow and PE on Friday. The rest of this week will be first week of school activities, and then starting Monday we will be hitting the academics! Speaking of academics this is probably a good time to mention that I write this blog after school around 3:15 when my brain is mush. Therefore, there might be times my grammar and spelling are a little mixed up. Please forgive me on this, as I just type in this information quickly daily. Please make sure that your child has their planner signed for tomorrow. They can earn an extra $50.00 if YOU write a sentence telling me what their favorite part of today was next to your signature. Have a great first night. Their only homework is to read for 20 minutes and get all their forms signed.
